Waktu beberapa tahun lalu sempat ramai orang membicarakan Telaga Bintang di Raja Ampat, Papua Barat, saya penasaran. Sudah berkali-kali ke Raja Ampat, kok saya belum ke sana ya? Padahal satu lokasi dengan Piaynemo, dan saya sudah ngubek-ngubek Piaynemo sejak Desember 2012, saat masih sangat jarang orang yang ke sana. Saya dan teman-teman mendaki dua bukit di Piaynemo (waktu itu view point Piaynemo yang sekarang belum terkenal, dan pastinya belum ada fasilitas apa-apa).
Maka November 2018 saat berkesempatan ke Raja Ampat lagi bersama rombongan, saya masukkan Telaga Bintang dalam itinerary. Jadi usai kunjungan ke view point utama Piaynemo yang sekarang sudah sangat ramai dan banyak fasilitas, kami naik speedboat lagi sekitar 10 menit untuk ke dermaga lain di area Piaynemo, tempat Telaga Bintang berada.

Begitu speedboat kami mendekati dermaga Telaga Bintang, saya mulai mengenali formasi batu-batu karst di depannya. Cuma bedanya sekarang sudah ada dermaga. Jadi sebelum mendaki, saya sudah yakin, ini sih saya sudah naikin bukitnya tahun 2012. Cuma belum kebayang, yang sebelah mananya sih telaga berbentuk bintangnya? Kok waktu itu kami nggak ngeh? Yang saya ingat view-nya sama-sama bagus baik arah seberang, maupun arah tempat kami mulai mendaki.
Jalur naiknya sekarang sudah ada step-stepnya walaupun bukan tangga rapi seperti di Piaynemo. Dulu mah kami benar-benar memanjat dan merangkaki batu-batuan karst tajam-tajam.

Turun lewat jalur yang sama, harus hati-hati karena curam
Nggak sampai 10 menit (malah kalau cepat dan nggak pakai antre, palingan 5 menit) kita sudah bisa tiba di area yang sedikit datar, yang masih sama seperti dulu, sempit, dan belum ada anjungan pandangnya (entah, mungkin sekarang sudah ada). Untuk ke posisi itu kita juga masih harus sedikit memanjat batu, atau melipir di rute sempit samping batu itu. Dari situlah kita bisa melihat Telaga Bintang dengan jelas.

Ooo ini tooooh.... Jadi ya, pas sampai di posisi yang lumayan datar itu, tengok saja ke kiri, arahkan pandangan ke laguna/telaga yang paling kiri. Terlihatlah laguna berair hijau toska dengan 5 sudut yang terbentuk alami. Dulu kami fokus dengan formasi bebatuan di sebelahnya, makanya saya cek, foto-foto jepretan saya banyakan ke arah itu.
