Memasuki lorong karst dengan boat
Misool di Raja Ampat Provinsi Papua Barat tak akan ada habis-habisnya dieksplor. Selalu ada tempat-tempat baru yang masih jarang sekali dikunjungi wisatawan. Beberapa spot yang tergolong masih perawan di Misool pernah saya tulis, yakni Gua Wagmab, Gua Keramat 2, Batu Patah. Kali ini saya akan menceritakan salah satu spot baru lain di Misool yang saya kunjungi November 2018 dan masih pingin banget saya kunjungi lagi. Namanya Magic Tunnel.

Kata Indra Franzpower, pemandu kami, spot yang berada di kawasan Tomolol ini memang masih baru banget. Ia pun menemukannya secara nggak sengaja saat ia bersama para penggiat kayak menyusuri pulau demi pulau di Misool dengan kayak. Memang dengan kayak yang jauh lebih ramping dan fleksibel dibanding speedboat akan lebih mudah blusukan ke balik dan celah-celah pulau karang di seantero Misool.
Untungnya, masuk ke tunnel ini nggak hanya bisa dengan kayak, boat kecil kami pun saat itu bisa masuk dan melaju dengan leluasa. Tapi hanya bisa masuk dengan boat saat airnya pas, nggak terlalu tinggi, juga nggak surut. Kalau air terlalu tinggi, takutnya di beberapa titik lintasan kita akan terkena langit-langit tunnel. Kalau terlalu surut airnya, boat akan kandas. Saat Desember 2018 saya ke Misool lagi, kami nggak bisa masuk karena kondisi air laut sedang nggak pas. Jadi batal deh saya mengulang pengalaman penuh sensasi sebulan sebelumnya.

Sensasi yang tak bisa saya lupakan adalah saat boat kami membelah air menyusupi celah panjang di bawah langit-langit batuan karst di sepanjang tunnel. Celahnya nggak sempit memang, tapi motorist harus sangat hati-hati melajukan boat. Sementara itu kami berseru kegirangan “Waaah... Kereeeen...” sambil tak hentinya memotret dan memvideokan penyusuran celah gelap yang berujung di ruang terbuka itu.

Jadi tujuan akhirnya cuma sampai di bagian terbuka di ujung tunnel doang? Nggak dooong... Inilah yang saya suka dari Misool. Tiap sudut bikin surprais! Kami turun dari boat di air dangkal di ruang terbuka itu untuk menuju ke bagian lain pulau. Untuk sampai ke sana, kami harus menembus jalan setapak yang dirimbuni pandan laut berduri. Pijakan di sepanjang jalurnya juga hanya berupa patahan batuan karst, sama sekali nggak rata.
Begitu tiba di ujungnya, terlihatlah laguna berair hijau tosca bening yang dikungkung bebatuan karst. Sayang, tempatnya sempit dan nggak ada pijakan rata. Beberapa batu yang kami injak juga licin. Ditambah saat itu banyak semut merah besar-besar menggigit-gigit kaki kami. Apalagi saat itu kami datang dua rombongan (dua-duanya dipandu oleh Indra), jadi kondisi nggak kondusif untuk memaksa berfoto-foto. Rombongan saya pun mengalah, jalan balik.

Kami memilih berendam-rendam di sekitar boat ditambatkan. Di salah satu dinding batu karst di situ ternyata ada lorong yang cukup untuk dimasuki orang dewasa dengan cara berenang. Lorong itu tembus ke laguna hijau di dalam itu. Tapi harus yang benar-benar mahir berenang dan harus didampingi pemandu lokal kalau mau menjajal lorong itu. Lain kali lah saya jajal. Pingin juga berenang di laguna itu.
